Top 5 NBA Players with Five Rings or more

It takes a lot to win one NBA Title but a player that can win 5 or more rings in his career well he was a special player or on the right team at the right time. Now to make my list of the Greatest of All Time I will focus on the special players that I feel merits to be on the list. I did not breakdown a list by position.

Top 5 Players with 5 or More NBA Titles

1. Michael Jordan tops the list because I like so many others, I consider him the best player to ever play in the NBA. He was unstoppable and his will to win far outweigh any statistics that he had. He played in 14 All-star games, was the NBA Finals MVP six times, 5 League MVPs and so much more. There was no one that could stop him on offense and possibly the best clutch performer in NBA history.

2. Kareem Abdul Jabbar is second to only Jordan. Like Jordan, Kareem has done it all. He has the numbers and 6 rings to prove it. Jabbar is the All-Time leading scorer of the NBA. He provided the most unstoppable shot ever seen in professional basketball and that was his patented Sky-hook.

3. Bill Russell can simply be called the Ring Master as he has 11 NBA titles. Rebounding and defense was his calling card. He did not score a lot of points but he was good on the defense side of the ball. He was a rebounding machine. I know it would be difficult to imagine, but it was nothing unusual for Russell to grab over 20 rebounds. He grabbed 51 rebounds in a game.

4. Bob Cousy, he was probably the first great point guard to play in the league. He played in 13 all star games, and he led the league in assist eight consecutive times. The 50s and 60s he was the equivalent of a Steve Nash or Magic Johnson. Six Rings were not too shabby.

5. Earvin Magic Johnson had point guard trapped in a 6’9 frame. He could do it all. He was League MVP three times. He was a master at running the Los Angeles Lakers’ fast break. He was an all-round player who could control the game. His five rings was because of his great play and making people around him better.
